Order Desk Estimator

We are excited to be working with our client as they search for an Order Desk Estimator to join their team. This role creates quotes for clients based on their inquiries and project specifications. • The rate of pay will be $65 - $85K /year – based on experience
• Profit sharing
• Monday-Friday

• Complete analysis accurately from client project descriptions and specifications – pulling relevant information to ensure projects meets expectations
• Provide a high quality of service while focusing on business to business sales
• Work with ERP system and Hub Spot to create quotes for clients
• Serve as a technical resource for clients – providing advice to clients
• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project needs to develop accurate and precise cost estimates
• Hold a strong product knowledge that you can apply to clients business needs
• Manage client calls as related to inquires and complications with projects – ensuring solution-based problem solving
• Use innovative and creative inside sales techniques to create value-add opportunities for clients

• 2+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales within the construction industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints, project drawings, and other documentation
• Experience with ERP systems, or similar programs
• Highly organized and analytical mind
• Solution focused problem solving skills
• Must have drivers license and reliable transportation
• Passion for working with a highly collaborative team

• Experience providing quotes for steel building materials
