Office Manager/Safety Officer

Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with Delco Contractors in their search for an Office Manager/Safety Officer. Candidates will be ensuring the safety of crews on site as well as managing employee files. If you are a results driven individual looking for a multi-faceted role – we want to hear from you!

• The rate of pay will be $80K - $90K/year + bonus
• Monday-Friday – 8am-5pm (flexible hours)

• Complete on-site safety inspections, including the completion of required paperwork as needed for health and safety programs
• Manage employee benefits and complete related administration
• Employee onboarding, training, and performance reviews for new and existing staff
• Safety paperwork, inspections, and audits as required to uphold company COR safety certifications
• Manage and track the data entry of receipts, inventory and vehicle expenses
• Write job descriptions and job ads as needed for new and changing roles within the company
• Manage monthly safety competition and safety incentive program
• Coordinate relevant events and skill competitions both internally and externally

• 2-3 years’ experience in a safety focused role, including the management of external safety programs
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment – including the ability to upward manage
• Must have valid drivers license and clean 5 years drivers abstract
• Must be able to pass drug screening and provide a clean criminal record check

• Construction industry experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Site Docs software’s
• COR audit experience
