Hire Standard is recruiting on behalf of Aqua Systems 2000 for a new staff member in the role of:
Business Development & Client Relations – Engineering Industry
We are seeking a highly motivated and client focused individual to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of customer support and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a strong understanding of the niche market we’re in and the products we offer
- Introduce our products/services to potential clients through in person, telephone and online communication
- Familiarize yourself with our existing client base and how we customize our products to suit their needs
- Meet with new customers to understand their needs and to present our products/services
- Develop an understanding of our quoting system and the information required to produce an accurate quote
- Take on the oversight and maintenance of our website/promotional materials
- Implement marketing strategies to continue to grow the client base
- Attend conferences and trade shows
- Approximately 3-4 weeklong trips/year to visit U.S. based clients
- Numerous day trips to visit clients within the province
Requirements:
- Strong ability to grasp engineering concepts specific to the water resource management industry
- Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to collect the information required to understand the clients’ needs
- Exceptional customer service and relationship developing skills
- Self-motivated with a professional and positive attitude
- High attention to detail, organization and time management skills
- High integrity and ability to build trust
- Strong computer proficiency with willingness to learn new programs
- Flexible availability with a willingness to travel approximately 3-4 weeklong trips/year as well as numerous day trips within the province
- Ability to travel into the U.S. (valid passport)
- Valid Class 5 license and reliable vehicle to use for work
- Ability to drive and walk in rural and outdoor elements and conditions including construction sites
