Accounting Technician

• The rate of pay will be $25-30/hr. based on experience
• Monday – Friday, 30 – 40 hours/week
• Based in-office

• Help us excel at our accounting practices (pun intended!)
• Conducting credit card and bank reconciliations
• Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Running and processing payments in a timely manner
• Scanning, labelling, and organizing documents
• Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports
• Submitting GST returns
• Conducting audits on a monthly and yearly basis
• Posting journal entries to ensure proper record management

• Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience within full-cycle accounting
• Experience working with QuickBooks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
• Understanding of how to prioritize tasks and ensure all deadlines are met
