About Us
The Southern Alberta Self-Help Association (SASHA) is a fully accredited and licensed non-profit organization dedicated to empowering adults with severe and persistent mental illness to achieve personal success through a continuum of supportive living options. Funded by Recovery Alberta and community grants, SASHA provides individualized, evidence-based services that promote stability, independence, and community reintegration.
Program Overview
SASHA delivers residential services through a client-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are in their recovery journey. We believe in each person’s capacity to manage their life and make their own decisions. SASHA staff work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized, strength-based support plans designed to equip them with the skills necessary for leading healthy, independent lives.
Our services are available to adults aged 18–64 who are diagnosed with severe or persistent mental illness. SASHA also supports individuals under a Community Treatment Order (CTO) or those experiencing housing insecurity, mental health challenges, or chronic health conditions.Rep/Contact Info
