Board of Directors 2016-2017

I was born and raised in Lethbridge and while I lived in Winnipeg for a number of years, I maintained my strong ties to the Lethbridge community. Since moving back to Lethbridge in the fall of 2015, I have worked to re-establish relationships within the community. Having the opportunity to serve the Chamber of Commerce would allow me to continue to build relationships while giving back to the community I love so much.

I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and I have over 15 years experience in the field of Human Resources. I have worked in both the public and private sector which provides me with a well rounded perspective as it relates to business and the opportunities and challenges which exist. I believe my experience in all facets of Human Resources would enable me to make a strong contribution to the Chamber of Commerce.

Kristie Kruger, co-owner of My Life Realty has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2006 and is the current President of the Lethbridge & District Real Estate Board. Kristie specializes in residential real estate in Lethbridge & Area.

In addition to membership at the Chamber of Commerce, Kristie is involved in many organizations that contribute to the welfare and well being of Southern Albertans: Urban Spirits Lethbridge Rotary Club, Young Professionals Association Lethbridge, Breakfast Club, Kiva, Big Brother & Big Sisters, and Angel Tree Campaign.

Dave has over 20 years of management experience in the business sector in both Manitoba and Alberta.

For the past 12 years he has held the position of Corporate Human Resources Manager and Health Safety and Environment Manager with Varsteel Ltd. He has his diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources and Accounting.

He has served as past Chair of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering for Southern Alberta, and is a current member of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta. He is also a Certified COR Safety Auditor in Alberta and B.C

Moving here from Winnipeg in 1999, Dave has enjoyed living in Southern Alberta where he loves to snowboard, Mountain Bike Kayak and camping. Loves having Waterton as his big back yard. Dave has been married for 23 years to Connie and they have three children.

Peter is the GM/GSM of 94.1 CJOC and 98.1 The Bridge, which are owned by Clear Sky Radio of Lethbridge.

Peter served as the Director of External Relations on the Chamber Board for the past year, and has been a member of the Chamber's Municipal Policy and Direction Committee for two years.

Peter also serves as Vice Chair of the Lethbridge Police Commission, and is a member of the downtown Lethbridge Rotary Club.
